OWGA Funding |
|
OWGA continues to explore opportunities for increasing and enhancing the sustainability of wheat production in Ohio. Current efforts include the expansion of markets, working with breeders and seed improvement associations to ensure the viability of wheat seed varieties for Ohio producers, and developing joint initiatives with commercial sources to increase wheat profitability. In order to provide for the continuation of these efforts, we are exploring avenues to increase funding for OWGA. Current discussions include the addition of corporate memberships and studying the potential viability of a wheat check-off for Ohio. |
